Are you pushing “play” today?
MOVE please.  I could tell you it’s about your goals. Give you some rhetoric about “not quitting” or “busting through excuses”. Provide you with random numbers supposedly representing the calories you may or may not have eaten. Guilt trip you with images of really fit women, looking bad ass and happy and tell you to BE like them. I could go on and on and on with the “reasons” you should move today. But NONE of them are the reason I want you to.
 Move today. Because you’ll feel GOOD. Better than now. Amazing, even. You’ll be a happier person. Less stressed out. You might find yourself smiling more. Maybe get a boost of confidence. And WOAH… you might have FUN. Remember fun? Fun is FUN!I don’t care about the calories you’re burning, how it fits in with your goals, or your plan for flat abs. But I do care how you FEEL. And moving today is a surefire way to FEEL awesome. All the other stuff is a bonus and something you can get back to whenever you please. 10 minutes. A walk. A DVD. A video online (ask me, I’ll send you TONS). A dance party. A game on the Wii. Yoga. Stretching. Sports .  Trust me now. Thank me later. xo

Getting Fit: A challenge for beginner runners or those of you who want to start running.

Week 1: Run one minute. Walk 90 seconds. Repeat eight times. Do three times a week.

Week 2: Run two minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat seven times. Do three times a week.

Week 3: Run three minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat six times. Do three times a week.

Week 4: Run five minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat four times. Do three times a week.

Week 5: Run eight minutes. Walk two minutes. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.

Week 6: Run twelve minutes. Walk one minute. Repeat three times. Do three times a week.

Week 7: Run fifteen minutes. Walk one minute. Run fifteen minutes. Do three times a week.

Week 8: Run thirty minutes continuously.

Okay seriously noting this for myself. I am doing this when I get back to the gym in a week and a half or so. Yes please!

Better Breakfasts: Spicy Eggs in Ham Baskets!
Dairy-free, gluten-free, low carb and Paleo friendly!
via Healthy Recipe Ecstacy

Ingredients (4-5 servings of 2 baskets)
10 slices of ham
10 eggs
1-2 tablespoons diced jalapeno
1-2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Heat the oven to 425 degrees. Coat a muffin tin with cooking spray. Place one slice of ham in each muffin hole. Cook for five minutes. (You need to cook the ham by itself first because it needs longer in the oven to crisp and you don’t want to overcook your eggs.)
Next, take the tin out of the oven. Crack one egg into each ham basket. Add a few dashes of tabasco on top of each egg.
Bake for five minutes. Then, turn down the oven to 350 degrees and bake for another five minutes (with this temperature you will get nice creamy eggs that are still just a little runny -perfect!). Take the tin out when the ham is nice and crispy and the eggs are set.
Sprinkle each egg in ham basket with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with a few diced jalapeno.
